Roxy and Toulouse are two adorable twin puppies who were born without their left eye . This is because her mother contracted a bacterial infection during pregnancy.

Their owners unfortunately labeled the puppies as “imperfect,” so they decided to put them to sleep forever. Fortunately, Fanny Sannier, a 19-year-old girl living in Belgium , heard about the dogs’ story and decided to intervene to save them.

Twin dogs are enjoying the best life after being rejected for having only one eye.

Sannier traveled to the kill shelter and ended up adopting the puppies; for her, it was like an early Christmas gift.

A faithful lover of animals, she would not allow furry animals to lose their lives just for looking different . In this regard, the young woman commented:

“When we found out they could be euthanized, we were all devastated .”

The young woman knew that they could lead a life like any other dog, she was also aware that they would need surgery and treatment to help them improve their condition.

Although for some people dogs with a condition “are not our favorites”, there are those people who, far from their appearance, only notice that they are little earthly angels who want to love and be loved .

With the certainty of taking them home safe and sound, he saved the money for the surgery, paying about $540 .

For Sannier, the “imperfections” of the puppies make them look even more adorable.

They were only two months old when they underwent the surgical process ; fortunately, the operation was a complete success. The vets cooked their eyes and now they enjoy a new life.

They have become the best accomplices to carry out mischief , they love to run in the rain, play with stuffed animals that almost always end up destroyed.

The puppies are a duo full of a lot of energy and love to give.

They also love to play with their other two foster siblings. Together they are a small pack that fills the days of a young woman who decided to change their lives with love, joy and lots of fun .

In this regard, Fanny commented:

“I am very happy that we adopted them. “They are so full of life, and I hope they are by my side as long as possible . ”

Although sometimes their family wonders about the tragic end that the dogs would have had if they had not acted in time, they are grateful to have those adorable balls of fur at home who show them their unconditional love every day.

Fanny comments that there are many people who are surprised when she tells them her story, the past of the furry ones who were going to be sacrificed just for being different .

Roxy and Toulouse reminds us that what really matters is the essence and not the appearance.

Currently, they spend their days enjoying a life as if they had no physical limitations . The garden of the house has become their favorite place, where they play, cool off and are immensely happy.

“The reaction is usually always the same, people are really surprised that they had been euthanized, because they can see how full of life both dogs are,” Fanny noted.

This pair of fur babies completely changed not only the life of a young woman, but of the entire family. Who enjoy seeing them so happy and full of life .

Finally the young woman commented:

“My whole family loves them so much because they bring joy to our home.”

This beautiful duo loves to spend their days in the garden of the house, from there they do countless pranks, they cool off, they are free and completely loved. For the family, it is really gratifying to see them so happy .
