Despite the terrible news, David MacNeil did not give up and after investigation, he took Scout to the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, where a cutting-edge treatment was being experimented with.
Just one month after starting the chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment, the tumor had shrunk by 78% and in a few days it reached 90%.
Having been given a chance of life of only 1%, Scout was safe and ready to continue his life with his human dad.
