When a woman responded to a call about a puppy on the verge of hypothermia, she really had no idea what she would find there.

Apparently, a guy with a stone for a heart had thrown the poor furry boy into a cardboard box covered in snow to the point of freezing.

The events occurred in Arkhonskaya, Russia, a town especially known for its extreme temperatures.

Tamara was heartbroken to see how someone could do something like that to such a small and vulnerable creature. Clearly, if she had not responded to the call for help, it was a matter of a few hours for the little boy to leave this cruel world.

Without a second’s hesitation, he took the little baby in his arms and carefully carried him to a veterinary clinic.

The dog’s condition was extremely serious, his body temperature was so low that the veterinarian was not even able to detect it, he was breathing very weakly, and he barely moved.

Because he was extremely dehydrated, his little body looked so fragile, and he had no blood pressure, unfortunately they couldn’t do any more tests to evaluate his real condition.

Tamara is a volunteer with the Dublin Shelter rescue group . These heroes took care of the little boy, and from then on they would do anything to get the little dog to defy fate and save his life.

They baptized him as Joseph, the poor guy truly needed a miracle to continue living.

At the clinic, they proceeded to place him inside a heating pad so that he could recover his ideal body temperature.

Although that seemed like a good option, sadly everything began to get complicated due to the simple fact that his breathing was getting weaker and weaker.

It was urgent that little José be given a blood transfusion. He would have to spend several days hospitalized while the veterinarians waited for a miracle to happen, but faith and hope are the last things to be lost and they would never stop fighting.

After few days of that, incredibly he started to improve.

We were able to hear his voice and finally some tests were performed,” said his rescuers.

They discovered that his main problem was not only that he arrived in a state of hypothermia but that he was also infested with parasites inside, which were basically eating him. This caused him a lot of diarrhea, vomiting, fever and weakness, in general.

So they proceeded to deworm him immediately, and José, despite his small size and delicate condition, seemed not to want to give up at all, clinging to life from the first second he arrived at the clinic.

The next day, the puppy began to show his first signs of life, which were extremely encouraging and hopeful for everyone.

Although he was still in pain, and needed intravenous medication, something that could be very annoying for him, all the veterinarians tried to do their best so that José could trust and suffer as little as possible.

Thanks to so much selflessness on the part of his heroes, who did not spare a single effort to guarantee his recovery, and above all thanks to the deep love with which they treated him, they soon reported on their networks that José was recovering wonderfully.

It is only a matter of time before the puppy, who one day a heartless man wanted the worst fate for him, achieves a complete transformation and finally gets the love full of love that he always deserved.

We heartily thank the woman who quickly responded to the call for help, thanks to that she saved the life of this vulnerable furry boy for whom his fate was cast. But even the most seemingly unfortunate creature can defy his own destiny, thanks to love.
