Have you ever dreamed of learning about the distant universe, exploring unexplored regions of space? In July 2022, the James Webb Telescope officially took the first pictures of this incredibly beautiful view of nebulae and dust, along with stars in the final stages of their lives.
But that is only a small part of the enormous discoveries that the James Webb Telescope will bring to humans in the near future. It is amazing that the data obtained by this telescope can help us better understand the formation of the universe and the first galaxies.
The James Webb telescope will help us see the universe as it was billions of years ago, instead of seeing what’s happening right now. These visibilitys are measured in light years, the distance that light can travel in a year.
The Deep Field image taken by James Webb on the galaxy cluster smax 0723 has shown extremely beautiful views of galaxies in the universe. This telescope not only helps us find thousands of new galaxies, but also helps us better understand how galaxies interact and merge with each other.
The findings are miraculous as the James Webb Telescope took just a few hours to capture these views, instead of days as it used to be. We have been able to see galaxies, galaxy clusters as well as quasars from huge distances.
