He was named after Sarah Hamilton, his human mother. And there is no better nickname for this friendly and spoiled canine.

Hamilton said that when he first saw it, its color reminded him of one of these famous and very tasty Oreo MacFlurry ice creams.

“He came to us from Omaha, Nebraska, which is about a 1,700-mile drive, all the way to northern California. We are a newly married couple and we felt that this was a great time to start our little family. He also has a chameleon brother,” Sarah said.

One of the most characteristic curiosities of chow-chows is that this type of specimen can weigh about 38 kilograms and grow like giants. In addition, they eat like lions and behave, like Chief, in quite unexpected ways.

“We named him Chief because he will grow to 35 kilos, and also because he is definitely a leader, not a follower. He came to us fully potty trained at 8 weeks and he behaves very well, he learns very quickly,” added the human mother of the particular and beautiful furry boy.

Chief has his own accounts on social networks, which he takes advantage of to show himself in images sharing beautiful moments of recreation and healthy fun with his loved ones.

Definitely, the dog, whatever its breed or age, is a fascinating animal. Faithful, affectionate, intelligent, friendly, happy, always willing to please us and infect us with some of his playful sense of life.
