In NIGERIA, Rahma Haruna, who lived her life with only half of her body in a plastic basin, died at the age of 19.

Rahma Haruna was born as a healthy baby, but when she was only 6 months old, her body’s development stopped for no apparent reason. The unfortunate young girl, whose arms, feet and body did not develop normally since that day, continued her life with the help of her mother and siblings.

The poor young girl was living her life in a plastic basin with her family members carrying her.

The whole world heard about Rahma’s tragic life story through the photos shared by her 10-year-old brother on social media.

Rahma’s mother fed her and her bathing and toilet needs were met by her mother. The family did their best to ensure that the young girl could live her life to the fullest.

The mother says that her daughter is very smart compared to her peers and is a happy young girl despite everything. “There are so many ways I can help her,” said Fahad, Rahma’s 10-year-old brother. I take him out for a walk every day. I feel happy when I see people helping him. Going to visit our relatives makes him very happy. He expressed his love for his sister by saying, “I like taking her around too.”

Although Hussaini Haruna, the young girl’s father, tried for years to find a treatment for his daughter, worked many jobs to pay the bills, and spent all his wealth, unfortunately he could not find a treatment for his daughter.

Rahma passed away before she could realize her dreams. The brave young girl’s biggest dream was to one day be able to shop alone to buy her own needs.
